Order :—In Finance Department's Circular Memorandum cited 1 above, orders were issued that the benefit of adjustment of pay of the seniors under Fundamental Rule 27 mentioned on G.O.Ms.No. 229, Finance, dated 31-8-1965 be extended, besides Superintendents, to other categories of posts covered by paras 12 and 13 of the Two Men Committee Report provided that the criteria prescribed in the above mentioned paras of the Report are fulfilled, viz., that both the juniors and seniors in the same category should have been actually working in that category on the crucial dates, viz., 31-10-1958 and 1-1-1964 etc. In Finance Department Circular Memorandum second cited, instructions issued modifying the instructions issued in Circular Memorandum first cited to the extent of the date of the monetary effect being given from 1-1-1964 instead of 24-1-1968. In this connection, a doubt has been expressed by the Accountant-General in the D.O. third cited, whether the instructions issued in the Finance Department Circular Nos. 1 and 2 cited above, will also apply to the Telangana employees. The Government after careful consideration have decided that the instructions issued in the Circular Memorandum cited in 1 and 2 above will equally apply to the Telangana employees and provided they fulfil the conditions mentioned at 'A' above. Necessary action may be taken accordingly.
